Fria gluten-free products for coeliacs: notes on availabilities

During the GFTweetup of a few weeks ago, there was a bit of discussion about Fria products, which many of us first came across at the Allergy Show, and have since been trying to source (often unsuccessfully). In my comments, I promised to contact the press officer for Fria in the UK, enquire about the availability of products and report back on any information. Here goes.

In the UK, Fria is currently available to purchase online from GFFDirect.

It’s also available in a few stores, mainly around London:

* Totally Swedish, 32 Crawford Street, W1 (a new store is opening in Barnes soon)

* Scandinavian Kitchen, 61 Great Titchfield Street, W1

* John Lewis Foodhall - Oxford Street W1 and Bluewater, Kent

For our Irish readers, I’m afraid it’s still not yet available in Ireland. But Monika, Fria’s PR, added this: “But if you know of someone who can give us advice of good stores in Ireland that handle frozen products well, that would be really helpful!”

Irish coeliacs: feel free to comment here if you want to recommend potential stockists in Ireland for Fria GF food, and I will pass on to Monika.

You can also stay updated on Fria’s Facebook page, and learn more at their website.
